As a Residence Attendant, you will play a critical role in supporting the well-being of homeless, runaway, and at-risk youth aged 10-17 at Angel's Flight, a shelter for youth in need.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide essential care and support to clients, including food, clothing, and basic needs.
  • Implement shelter policies and procedures, addressing client concerns and questions in a compassionate and professional manner.
  • Ensure clients adhere to shelter rules and regulations.
  • Coordinate client transportation and supervision as needed.
  • Plan and organize activities, outings, and special events to promote client engagement and development.
  • Train and instruct volunteers in shelter procedures and best practices.
  • Develop and implement activities for clients participating in team programs.
  • Provide crisis intervention, case management, intakes, referrals, and other childcare services.
  • Collaborate with shelter staff to enhance service delivery and program improvements.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 6-12 months of experience in a related field.

Candidates must be available to work various shifts, including 12am-8am, 8am-4pm, and 4pm-12am.
