Job Summary:
The Assistant Manager of Guest Services plays a crucial role in supporting the Guest Services Manager by collaborating closely with all associates in the Guest Services department to ensure adherence to company policies and achievement of departmental goals.

Guest Services Department Leaders are responsible for fostering meaningful and genuine interactions with guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and a pleasant checkout experience.


Key Responsibilities:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Guest Services Manager by leading the department in their absence and managing key tasks effectively.

Facilitates check-ins, training checklists, interviews, department meetings, labor management, and associate accountability.

Promotes Festival culture, customer service excellence, and performance standards among all Guest Services associates.

Mentors key associates for career advancement within the company.

Utilizes coaching and evaluation tools to enhance team performance.

Conducts training for baggers and oversees Guest Services activities to ensure a positive guest experience and a supportive team environment.

Communicates departmental priorities and delegates responsibilities effectively.

Manages communication through various channels including emails and meetings.

Ensures compliance with Guest Services operating procedures and maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Develops and implements daily and weekly work plans for the department.

Utilizes labor management tools to create schedules that meet guest needs while optimizing productivity.

Monitors staffing levels throughout the day to align with guest traffic and item counts.

Assists in maintaining accuracy in bookkeeping and ensures timely attendance compliance.

Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following requirements:

1. One to three years of previous leadership experience preferred or a combination of education and experience.
2. High School diploma required.
3. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with customers and staff.
4. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on negotiation.
5. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
6. Team-oriented mindset with a passion for training and developing others.
7. Comprehensive understanding of safety protocols and company policies.
