Job Overview

Position Title: Coffee Specialist

Compensation: Hourly wage in USD; Non-Exempt

EMPLOYEE BENEFITS:

ROLE SUMMARY:

As a Coffee Specialist, you will be responsible for executing opening and closing tasks, which include preparing necessary supplies, cleaning equipment and work areas, and securing the premises. You will manage workstations, input customer orders into the cash register system, and process payments. Your role will also involve taking orders, entering them into the MICROS system, and crafting food and coffee beverages. You will ensure that all appliances are operated correctly and maintain cleanliness in all areas throughout the day. Additionally, you will manage cash handling, complete cashier reports, and address any discrepancies.

Adherence to company policies and safety protocols is essential. You will report any accidents or unsafe conditions to management and complete required safety training. Maintaining a professional appearance and confidentiality of sensitive information is expected. You will greet and acknowledge all guests, anticipating their needs and providing assistance as necessary. Clear communication and positive relationships with colleagues are vital to achieving team goals. You will ensure quality standards are met and perform physical tasks as required.
