Position Overview

Providence Swedish Medical Center is seeking a full-time, board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Urologist to enhance our Pediatric Urology division, which has been integral to our Pediatric Specialty Care since its inception. This role is situated within a comprehensive multi-specialty clinic that encompasses Pediatric-trained professionals across various disciplines including General Surgery, Pulmonology, Nephrology, Orthopedics, Pediatric Gastroenterology, Sports Medicine, and Infectious Disease.

This practice offers a robust referral network for prenatal assessments and newborns presenting with urological issues. The center boasts a high-volume ambulatory surgical service, complemented by strong collaborations with Primary Care practices throughout the region. Our facilities include a Level IV NICU, a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and an in-house Pediatric Hospitalist service to ensure superior inpatient care. Our team includes Pediatric anesthesiologists and child life specialists dedicated to enhancing patient safety and family experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Full-time position for a Board Eligible or Board-Certified Pediatric Urologist.
  • Ideal candidates will possess fellowship training in Pediatric Urology, along with advanced clinical skills and experience in laparoscopy, robotics, and endoscopy.
  • Current BLS and PALS certifications are mandatory.
  • Compensation ranges from $466,645 to $681,491 annually (for 1.0 FTE).
  • Compensation may include productivity or quality/service incentives, call pay, and extra shift incentives, as applicable. Additionally, continuing medical education (CME) benefits may be available.
  • Comprehensive benefits package includes health, vision, dental, and retirement plans.

The Swedish Pediatric Specialty Care operates as a multi-specialty clinic, featuring Pediatric-trained providers in Urology, General Surgery, Gastroenterology, Pulmonology, Endocrinology, Infectious Disease, Neurology, Orthopedics, and registered dieticians. Our facility is recognized as the leading high-risk delivery center in the Pacific Northwest, facilitating over 12,000 deliveries annually, which strengthens our referral base for prenatal consultations and newborns with various congenital and renal anomalies.
