Adherence to health regulations and company standards is essential to guarantee guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and serve guests promptly, responding to their needs with a positive attitude.
- Deliver high-quality service while building rapport with guests.
- Utilize the guest service recovery program effectively.
- Accurately take orders and employ proper serving techniques.
- Suggest additional items, such as pastries, to enhance the guest experience.
- Stay informed about specials and promotions to assist in business growth.
- Follow cash handling and point-of-sale procedures diligently.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area, complying with regulations.
- Be knowledgeable about emergency procedures and follow company protocols during incidents.
- Plan and prioritize work duties to meet productivity goals.
- Adhere to attendance policies and grooming standards.
- Participate in required meetings and contribute to team efforts across departments.
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently, including cleaning and stocking duties.
Qualifications:
Required Skills: Previous guest service experience is essential, with a focus on customer satisfaction and attention to detail. The ability to communicate effectively in English is necessary to meet guest needs.
Education: A high school diploma or equivalent experience is required.
Physical Requirements: Candidates must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 30 pounds regularly and perform physically demanding tasks such as walking and standing throughout the shift.
Preferred Skills: Experience as a server or barista in a high-volume establishment is advantageous.
