Audio-Visual Program Manager

The Program Manager is accountable for all projects within the program. They provide strategic guidance to the Audio-Visual project team, promoting the company's culture, enhancing client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate will be an excellent leader, experienced in managing staff of different disciplines to produce results in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing weekly program status updates to management and customer stakeholders
  • Escalating project managers and clients
  • Coordinating cross-regional and specialty coordination and ensuring consistent delivery processes
  • Notifying management of potentially critical situations that put the project or program at risk
  • Accounting for the financial performance of each project within the assigned program
  • Developing and maintaining strong communications with all key stakeholders within the program
  • Anticipating and resolving unforeseen problems
  • Setting and enforcing standards for client-facing communications
  • Providing program-level support to the sales process and maintaining visibility on strategic opportunities
  • Handling other duties relative to the job as assigned by management
  • Ensuring and achieving the highest level of customer service for all projects within the assigned program
  • Tracking and reporting all pending program opportunities and open initiatives

Complexity:

  • Navigating a complex set of variables, including continuity of system designs, global project teams, overall performance quality, and varying stakeholder expectations to achieve high customer satisfaction
  • Communicating verbally and in writing to manage these variables, requiring high awareness, emotional intelligence, and people management skills

Decision Making Authority:

  • Taking full ownership of the program, with high-level decision-making authority to ensure overall performance, quality of service, and client satisfaction

Requirements:

  • CAPM and/or PMP certification preferred
  • AVIXA essentials of AV Technology and Project Management for AV & CTS preferred
  • 5+ years of Audio Visual Project and/or Audio-Visual Program Management experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing Audio-Visual vendor relationships with Construction Management Companies, General Contractors, Consultants, and Architects
  • Proficient with computers and current business software applications within MS Office, especially MS Project & Excel
