Senior Audio/Video Test Engineer

Qualitest is seeking a highly skilled Senior Audio/Video Test Engineer to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and organizing software testing efforts, ensuring all release deliverables are met on time.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and organize software testing team to ensure timely delivery of release deliverables
  • Develop and execute test strategy and plans provided by program management
  • Manage transformation of PRDs and new features into test cases to maximize test coverage
  • Represent QA team at release meetings with critical data impacting gating decisions
  • Improve existing software testing processes and methodologies
  • Drive critical bugs to closure to quickly unblock releases
Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 7 years' experience in test planning and strategy development
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in Test Automation in at least one programming language
  • Adept at troubleshooting complex systems integration issues through log analysis
  • Proficient with Linux CLI and/or mobile architecture with hands-on command-line experience
  • Hands-on experience with Python and/or Bash scripting required
  • Proficient with defect tracking tools, defect management, and release triage methodologies
  • Can-do attitude, teamwork, and ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic startup environment
Bonus Qualifications:
  • Cloud experience leading test engineering efforts from planning, execution, and delivery for cloud-based applications
  • Experience working with test automation teams to identify and prioritize test cases that can and should be automated
  • Ability to organize and classify test execution strategies for efficiency
