Role Overview

The primary focus of this position is to refine and enhance manufacturing processes across various stages including melting, hot-working, finishing, and laboratory machining. This role is crucial for implementing improvements that elevate safety standards, optimize equipment performance, and ensure product quality.

Key Responsibilities (additional tasks may be assigned)

  • Enhance and maximize equipment utilization.
  • Refine material application techniques.
  • Identify and implement automation opportunities.
  • Establish best practices for resource utilization in manufacturing equipment.
  • Oversee technical aspects of maintenance and construction related to hot-working furnaces.
  • Assist in identifying, justifying, and executing capital needs.
  • Develop and implement enhancements to manufacturing processes that improve workplace safety, equipment efficiency, and product quality.
  • Lead and manage continuous improvement initiatives for products and processes, utilizing statistical analysis and modeling tools as necessary.
  • Collaborate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement efforts, including risk assessments, problem-solving documentation, process audits, and standard operating procedures.
  • Effectively communicate findings and progress to management, colleagues, and stakeholders through comprehensive reports and presentations.

Qualifications Required

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a metals-related sector.

Preferred Qualifications

  • In-depth expertise in Process Engineering.
