Become an integral part of a pioneering Mobile Engineering division at Marriott International.

  • Guide a talented team of iOS and Android developers to enhance and innovate the Marriott Bonvoy applications for our esteemed members and guests.
  • Engage in a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment to leverage state-of-the-art tools and technologies.
  • Supervise daily mobile application development with an emphasis on process improvement and adherence to standards.
  • Ensure timely delivery of features in alignment with the product roadmap, collaborating closely with architects on critical initiatives.
  • Prioritize code quality and mentor the application development team in following established tools and processes.
  • Champion a continuous improvement initiative to elevate quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Candidate Profile: Essential Background and Qualifications

  • Extensive leadership experience in application development, especially in large-scale mobile app development for iOS and Android platforms.
  • Expertise in managing substantial app projects serving millions of users, alongside overseeing Omni-Channel development and backend system integration.
  • Demonstrated success in budget management exceeding $5M+ annually and leading cross-functional teams.
  • Degree in a relevant field, combining education and experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven success in facilitating medium- to large-scale transformations.
  • Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and IT outsourcing activities.
  • Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, SDLC, and ITIL v3 Framework.
  • Familiarity with iOS and Android platforms, diverse delivery models, and IT financial structures.
  • Proficient in problem-solving, negotiation, and business strategy formulation.
  • Ability to lead with vision, manage change effectively, and cultivate strong relationships.

  • Establish and maintain application development standards, processes, and tools.
  • Manage project relationships with IT teams, business partners, and service providers.
  • Implement and oversee a continuous improvement program aimed at enhancing client satisfaction.
  • Drive strategic partnerships, talent development, and technical expertise within the organization.
