Your Role

In collaboration with the Store Manager, exemplify and promote a customer-centric sales culture by adhering to effective routines, maintaining visual brand standards, and engaging with customers.

Analyze business trends utilizing available reports to identify opportunities and implement necessary actions.

Consistently embody, advocate for, and nurture the culture and principles of World Market.

Recruit, develop, and retain a high-performing team focused on customer satisfaction that aligns with our values through training, recognition, and performance management.

Ensure a safe working environment through ongoing safety training, awareness, and accountability.

Organize and execute daily tasks and responsibilities assigned by or in the absence of the Store Manager.

Additional duties and responsibilities as designated by or in the absence of the Store Manager.


Key Merchandising Responsibilities

Utilize company tools and training resources to educate the team on merchandising standards and visual presentation techniques; confirm replenishment and recovery routines.

Organize publication calendars and delivery schedules to effectively plan and confirm visual workloads; collaborate with the leadership team to schedule tasks efficiently.

Manage all signage and graphics in partnership with the management team.

Verify and uphold all inventory management and data integrity processes.


Your Contributions

Demonstrated leadership skills, including:

Exhibiting exceptional Customer Experience behaviors, a strong sense of urgency, meticulous attention to detail, innovative problem-solving abilities, effective decision-making aligned with strategic objectives, delegation and validation skills, and efficient execution of daily responsibilities.

Preferably, a minimum of 2 years of relevant leadership experience in a dynamic specialty retail environment.

Willingness to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings and weekends, based on business needs.

Minimum age requirement of 21 years.

Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
