Dispensary Sales Lead Job Description

CULTA is seeking a highly organized and self-motivated Dispensary Sales Lead to join our team in Baltimore, MD. As a Sales Lead, you will be responsible for day-to-day operations of the dispensary, including leading a dynamic team, establishing strong relationships with cultivation and production representatives, inventory control, and customer service while staying compliant with State laws, rules, and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Excellence: Participate in refining and implementing best operational rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and direct the dispensary staff.
  • Performance Management: Educate team according to CULTA guidelines, conduct performance reviews, and establish performance improvement plans.
  • Customer Experience: Inspire the team to deliver the best customer experience.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an in-depth industry-wide knowledge of products and strains in Maryland.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Maintain an in-depth knowledge of current cannabis law and regulations.
  • Product Knowledge: Educate team about cannabis products and consumption methods.
  • Cash Handling: Oversee and manage quality product inventory and conduct opening/closing inventory counts and audits as needed.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in METRC.
Requirements:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Skills: Highly organized, self-starter, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to solve problems effectively.
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to work onsite, possess the physical strength and stamina required to stand, sit, or walk for long periods of time, and ability to lift 20 lbs.
