Assistant Dispensary Manager Full-Time

Job Description

Vireo Health, LLC is a leading provider of medical cannabis products and services. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Dispensary Manager to join our team at our Green Goods dispensary in Baltimore, MD.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the Dispensary Manager in the day-to-day operations of the dispensary, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with company policies and state regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Dispensary Manager in supervising retail operations, including managing inventory, ordering products, and analyzing sales data.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for patients and staff.
  • Train new employees, address patient and personnel complaints, and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Manage cash handling, including counting drawers and safe, making change for registers, and performing record-keeping duties.
  • Stay up-to-date with security systems, POS systems, LeafLogix, Metrc, and facility structure.
  • Act as a resource for staff members, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Identify effective solutions to increase sales, including creating, implementing, and evaluating promotions, discounts, and guest benefits.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the store, retail storage areas, office, and store supplies.
  • Exercise tact and professionalism when problem-solving and resolving conflicts.

Requirements:

  • College degree
  • Excellent corporate communications skills, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Integrity and reliability
  • Extensive experience in customer service
  • Ability to effectively resolve heightened interactions with patients and staff
  • Excellent computer and technical skills, including experience with web browsers, retail POS systems, and credit card processing terminals
  • High-level critical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to create and review data metrics
  • Ability to handle high-volume cash
  • Ability to lift up to 40lbs
  • Ability to work in an environment with moderate to loud noise level
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, an average of 40 hours per week, and additional time as needed
  • Ability to pass background check and drug test as required by law
