As a Service Booker, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of repair orders, monitoring comebacks and Key Performance Indicators, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair Order Management: Ensure repair orders are accurate and complete according to Mercedes-Benz and dealership standards. This includes verifying flagged technician labor hours and comments, ensuring all parts, labor, and other charges are billed correctly with 100% accuracy, and verifying that all required manufacturer, state, and dealership documentation is included on every repair order.
  • Comeback and KPI Monitoring: Monitor all comebacks and relevant Key Performance Indicators to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction and dealership performance.
  • Reporting and Communication: Prepare and provide accurate reports as required by dealership management and proactively communicate any potential issues with a plan to mitigate any errors to ensure the best possible outcome for the dealership and customer.
  • Training and Certification: Complete any needed manufacturer training and/or certifications to stay up-to-date on the latest Mercedes-Benz products and services.

Requirements:

  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Booker.
  • Knowledge: Must possess working knowledge of automotive parts, diagnostic procedures, repair procedures, and general vehicle knowledge.
  • Communication: Excellent communication skills are required to effectively interact with customers, technicians, and dealership management.
  • License: Must have a valid driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record and safe driving habits to drive both customer vehicles and a demonstrator vehicle.
  • Team Player: Must be a team player with impeccable honesty and integrity.
  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a high level of professional personal appearance and conduct.
