The SAP PI/PO Integration Specialist is tasked with the design, development, and upkeep of system interfaces and integration frameworks utilizing SAP's Process Integration (PI) or Process Orchestration (PO) software. Primary Responsibilities:
Design and Development:
Create, develop, and sustain interfaces and integrations using SAP PI/PO. This encompasses configuring and coding the necessary middleware to enable integration.
Integration Architecture:
Construct and uphold the SAP PI/PO integration architecture in alignment with the organization's needs and industry best practices.
Testing and Troubleshooting:
Execute unit, integration, and performance testing. Diagnose and resolve any issues that emerge during testing or post-implementation.
Documentation:
Record all designed and developed processes, including specifications, test plans, and user manuals.
Collaboration:
Work together with cross-functional teams to comprehend business processes and requirements.
Required Skills and Experience:
Technical Proficiency:
Expertise in SAP PI/PO, SAP NetWeaver, ABAP, and Java.
Familiarity with other integration tools and technologies such as SOAP, REST, XML, and EDI.
Analytical Skills:
Capability to troubleshoot and resolve both technical and non-technical challenges.
