Position Overview: Part-time role requiring 14-20 hours per week during the academic calendar.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage incoming calls, accurately relay messages, and direct inquiries to the appropriate personnel while providing excellent customer service to church members and families.
- Oversee the front desk area, ensuring it is well-stocked with necessary supplies and current information regarding events and activities.
- Facilitate communication within the school through both verbal and written formats.
- Screen and manage visitor access, ensuring compliance with established security protocols.
- Coordinate volunteer schedules and conduct necessary background checks.
- Stay informed about any high-risk situations affecting the community.
- Administer the main phone messaging system during adverse weather conditions.
- Process and manage student beverage orders on a quarterly basis and as required.
- Assist with various office events, including:
- Back to School Social
- Appreciation Luncheon
- Holiday Celebrations
- Cards for staff milestones such as birthdays and new arrivals
- Perform typing, copying, and maintain an organized filing system, including appointment calendars and bulletin boards.
- Oversee the sign-in and sign-out logs at the front desk.
- Prepare monthly calendars for teachers.
- Conduct data entry for school-age care programs.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
The ideal candidate for the Front Desk Coordinator position will be selected based on their character, spiritual leadership, and relevant experience, understanding the importance of being a role model within the community. Candidates should possess:

- Experience in office support roles, preferably within an educational environment.
