Engineering Coordinator

The Engineering Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Director of Engineering with various administrative tasks. Key responsibilities include:

  • Creating purchase orders and procuring materials for the Engineering department
  • Posting schedules for Engineers every two weeks
  • Coordinating with vendors for third-party work
  • Maintaining life safety and health-related documents with the Director of Engineering
  • Ensuring the Alice system is up-to-date and current for the Engineering department
  • Managing records, files, and ledgers for purchasing information and tracking
  • Implementing a follow-up system for ordered materials
  • Tracking departmental expenses
  • Processing invoices for purchased items, contract labor, and service calls
  • Performing other administrative tasks as determined by the Director of Engineering
  • Participating in energy conservation programs
  • Reviewing guest and meeting planner comment cards to identify and address issues in a timely manner

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Basic accounting skills
  • Familiarity with employment laws is beneficial
  • Valid U.S. work authorization
