Job Summary

G.S. Precision is a leading manufacturer of critical components for the Aerospace and Defense Industries. We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of mechanical duties to adjust, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, install, and rebuild special purpose industrial machinery and support equipment.
  • Analyze, diagnose, and troubleshoot problems, determine the root cause, and make repairs under direct supervision.
  • Operate drill presses, lathes, milling machines, sheet metal breaks, shears, and other equipment used in fabrication or modification of machine parts and guarding.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics in accordance with standard practices, reads and interprets hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical schematics and drawings.
  • Work with experienced technicians to determine root cause and corrective actions.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent or 0-2 years of experience.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to use all required measurement and inspection equipment.
  • Service oriented with strong communication skills.
  • Cooperative and diplomatic.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
