Job Summary:

Dexian is seeking a highly skilled Microbiology Lab Technician I to join our team. As a key member of our laboratory team, you will be responsible for performing various laboratory tests and procedures to ensure the quality and safety of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement department procedures for the use of GC equipment.
• Set up and troubleshoot software and equipment, making routine repairs and adjustments as needed.
• Coordinate the retrieval of samples for testing and perform ETO testing on product samples.
• Conduct dissipation studies and complete instrument validation.
• Interpret the significance of results and perform trend analysis.
• Perform general laboratory and test supply maintenance, as well as other functions as necessary or assigned.
• Prepare products for testing according to written procedures and record results on computer and specified forms.
• Perform troubleshooting on the system if problems occur and review and approve test data against action limits.
• Conduct environmental bioburden testing, air sampling, and sterility testing of sample products.
• Investigate all test results and assist with the development, modification, and validation of new or existing department procedures.
