Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Clinical Dietitian PRN to join our team at Methodist Hospital Specialty and Transplant. As a key member of our Food and Nutrition Services department, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and evaluating all phases of nutritional care for inpatients and outpatients of all ages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform comprehensive nutritional assessments, evaluations, and planning to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Develop and implement individualized meal plans, taking into account patients' medical conditions, dietary needs, and preferences.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams, including physicians, nurses, and case managers, to coordinate nutritional care and ensure seamless patient transitions.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients and their families on healthy eating habits, nutrition, and disease management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction, safety, and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field.
  • State of Texas licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure within 4 months of hire.
  • Registration/Registered eligible with the American Dietetic Association.
