Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Dietitian, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive nutritional assessments and developing tailored meal plans for patients across all age groups.
  • Maintaining and updating nutritional care plans, ensuring alignment with medical records and collaborating with healthcare teams.
  • Implementing dietary prescriptions and calculating nutrient requirements for individualized meal planning.
  • Participating in the operational aspects of the Food and Nutrition Services department, focusing on quality improvement and customer satisfaction.
  • Providing nutritional counseling and education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians and nursing staff, to optimize patient care.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Food and Nutrition or a related discipline.
  • Licensure by the State of Texas or the ability to obtain licensure within four months of hire.
  • Registration or eligibility for registration with the American Dietetic Association.
