Key Responsibilities

As a Clinical Dietitian, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting nutritional assessments and developing tailored meal plans for patients across all age groups.
  • Maintaining and reviewing nutritional care plans, ensuring alignment with medical records and treatment goals.
  • Implementing dietary prescriptions and calculating nutrient requirements.
  • Participating in the operations of the Food and Nutrition Services department, focusing on meal service quality and customer satisfaction.
  • Providing nutritional counseling to patients and their families, utilizing educational materials.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to assess and implement comprehensive nutritional care plans.

Qualifications Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food and Nutrition or a related field.
  • State licensure in Texas or the ability to obtain licensure within four months of hire.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the American Dietetic Association.
