Clinical Recruitment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Recruitment Specialist to join our team at Worldwide Clinical Trials. As a key member of our recruitment team, you will play a critical role in advancing new medications from discovery to reality.

Job Summary

The Clinical Recruitment Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all interactions with potential participants are professional and timely. They will screen all potential participants and be knowledgeable about each study's specific requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete all necessary and applicable Worldwide Clinical Trials training, including Standard Operating Procedures, Corporate Handbook, and Recruitment Training Manual.
  • Represent Worldwide in a professional manner when interacting with sponsors, volunteers, outside vendors, and fellow employees.
  • Answer all incoming calls and return calls in a professional and timely manner.
  • Perform outbound calling to potential participants for enrollment into ongoing studies.
  • Utilize the recruitment subject database for subject identification, recruitment, and qualification.
  • Telephone screens potential participants and schedules them for screening.
  • Assist in subject tracking, including screening cancellations, and follow-up with subjects on probation or outbound calling.
  • Become familiar with inclusion/exclusion criteria for each study protocol and assist with creation of screening forms, assess probable eligibility, and schedules subjects.
  • Become familiar with job-specific information, including medications, media sources, study procedures, and protocol.
  • Responsible for requesting, scheduling, and attending any training required for this position.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic computer knowledge and applications required for database maintenance and other administrative duties.
  • Must be able to work with constant interruptions.
  • Experience in phone interviews and medical terminology to include medications.
  • Excellent computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience in the medical field with some knowledge in medical terminology.
