Idaho Transportation Department Administrative Assistant Role

The State of Idaho is seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team in the Division of Motor Vehicles (DMV) at the Headquarters building in Boise, Idaho. This role will support the DMV business units by providing administrative services, including budget report analysis, accounts payable management, equipment tracking, scheduling, office supply coordination, timesheet assistance, business travel administration, and other administrative tasks as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to sections within DMV
- Coordinate general office activities
- Track and order supplies
- Compile information from various sources for division and section projects
- Assist with timesheets, interviews, and new employee arrangements
- Schedule meetings and conferences
- Respond to customer inquiries and explain department services, policies, procedures, and rationale for decisions
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of office support functions, including word processing, filing, composing business documents, and reception skills
- Ability to gather and compile data
- Capacity to balance and coordinate multiple projects
- Strong customer service skills
- Detail-oriented with ability to multitask
