We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in serving the mission of the Idaho Department of Fish and Game, and will have knowledge and an appreciation for hunting, fishing, and trapping activities.

This position provides administrative support and coordination for all Wildlife Bureau activities. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing the IDFG Wildlife Bureau's support staff work unit.
  • Providing administrative support and coordination for all Wildlife Bureau activities.
  • Training, supervising, developing work plans, and evaluating performance of subordinate staff.
  • Responding to inquiries and explaining department services, policies, procedures, and rationale for decisions to customers.

The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret, apply, and explain complex information such as regulations, policies, or services.
