Job Title: Substance Use Disorder Specialist

Carolina Outreach, a leading provider of community-based behavioral services, is seeking a skilled Substance Use Disorder Specialist to join our Community Support Team. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing assessment, therapy, and case management services to adults struggling with substance use disorders.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify clients' needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide community-based therapy and case management services to adults with substance use disorders.
  • Collaborate with clients, families, and community resources to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Assist clients in accessing benefits and services, and monitor the provision of services.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners to ensure effective service coordination.
Requirements:
  • Masters' degree in a related field (e.g., counseling, social work, psychology).
  • Experience working with adults with substance use disorders.
  • Strong assessment and treatment planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
