Role Overview:
We are in search of a dedicated Development Project Manager to enhance our operations at Kuester Commercial Real Estate in Fort Mill, SC. This on-site position is pivotal in steering the success of our development initiatives. The Development Project Manager will oversee project timelines, manage inspections, coordinate logistics, and liaise with various stakeholders to ensure that project milestones are achieved effectively and efficiently.
Core Responsibilities:
- Project Timeline Oversight: Formulate and uphold project schedules, guaranteeing timely completion of all project phases. Recognize potential delays and devise solutions to maintain project momentum.
- Inspection Coordination: Organize and oversee all required inspections during the development process, ensuring adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
- Logistics Management: Supervise the logistics of construction projects, including the coordination of materials, equipment, and labor to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for all project stakeholders, including clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams. Promote communication and collaboration to fulfill project goals.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and address risks related to project development. Formulate contingency plans to tackle potential challenges that may arise during the project lifecycle.
- Budget Oversight: Assist in managing project budgets, ensuring completion within allocated financial resources. Monitor spending and provide regular updates on budget status.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project components meet the company's standards for quality and client satisfaction. Conduct routine site visits and inspections to evaluate progress and quality.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in project management, particularly within the commercial real estate or construction sectors.
- Strong capabilities in expediting and inspection processes, with a comprehensive understanding of regulatory requirements.
- Expertise in logistics management, with the ability to coordinate complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
- Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, capable of managing several projects concurrently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster strong relationships with clients and team members.
- Thorough knowledge of commercial real estate industry practices and standards.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Construction Management, or a related discipline is required.
Note: Candidates must be located within the Fort Mill, SC area.
