  • Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment to minimize downtime and optimize production.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of parts and equipment.
  • Fabricate, manufacture, or assemble items as indicated on blueprints, sketches, or schematics of complex objects and circuitry.
  • Rebuild or remodel highly complex pieces of machinery, such as gearboxes, motors, and other equipment.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of parts and supplies to facilitate timely repair of equipment.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques through ongoing training and professional development.
Requirements
  • Advanced skills as an industrial mechanic or industrial electrician.
  • Two years of electrical experience preferred.
  • A two-year certificate from a college or technical school is preferred.
  • Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write various types of documents, including instructions, training outlines, and reports.
  • Ability to effectively present information verbally in one-on-one to large group situations.
