Position Summary

This role involves working a 12-hour shift from 7 AM to 7:15 PM, with alternating weekends off. The starting pay ranges from $28 to $30 per hour, depending on experience. We prioritize a safety-first environment and offer opportunities for skill development and pay advancement through our operator level program.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary duty of this position is to set up and operate a multi-station gravure coater to ensure the production of high-quality products in line with established specifications and output requirements. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting start-up and in-process testing.
  • Performing regular visual inspections of materials.
  • Executing routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on machines and rollers.
  • Replenishing mixes and solvents during operations.
  • Maintaining accurate production records.
  • Handling materials as required.
  • Cross-training on various equipment and batch making as necessary.
  • Upholding a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhering strictly to safety protocols.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a stable work history, a collaborative mindset, a willingness to learn, and a proven track record of working safely while producing quality outcomes. Candidates must successfully pass a post-offer drug screening and background check.

Essential Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting is preferred. Familiarity with gravure coating, inks, printing, and chemical handling is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to varying shifts as needed.
  • Physical requirements include frequent walking, bending, lifting up to 35 lbs., and the ability to visually identify product quality defects.
