Position Overview:
As a Plant Operations Technician, you will play a crucial role in the operation and upkeep of boilers and auxiliary systems essential for steam production.

Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor the functionality of all utility systems, taking action as needed to ensure uninterrupted service.
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment, demonstrating strong mechanical aptitude across various disciplines including electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC.

Experience Requirements:
- A minimum of 1-5 years of general mechanical experience is preferred.
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is advantageous.

Educational Qualifications:

Licenses and Certifications:
- A valid New Jersey Black Seal Boiler Operators License is mandatory.

Essential Skills:
- Ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols in a healthcare environment.
- Comprehensive knowledge of power plant operations and utility management.
- Proficient in general mechanical and electrical principles.
- Capacity to operate independently with minimal supervision while effectively prioritizing multiple tasks.

Interdepartmental Communication:
- Engage with various departments to gather or provide information, requiring tact and discretion to foster cooperation.

Supervisory Structure:
- This position does not entail supervising others but requires adherence to established procedures while reporting to a direct supervisor.

Work Schedule:
- Full-time position with a commitment of 80 hours per pay period, scheduled from Wednesday to Sunday, 3 PM to 11 PM.
