Position Summary

This role involves working a 12-hour shift from 7 PM to 7:15 AM, with alternating weekends off. The starting compensation ranges from $28 to $30 per hour, based on experience, with an additional shift differential of $1.25 per hour. We prioritize a safety-oriented work environment and provide opportunities for professional growth through our operator advancement program.

Key Responsibilities:
The primary duty of this position is to set up and operate a multi-station gravure coater, ensuring the production of high-quality products that meet established specifications and output requirements. Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting start-up and in-process testing.
  • Performing regular visual inspections of materials.
  • Executing routine cleaning and preventative maintenance on machines and rollers.
  • Replenishing mixes and solvents during operations.
  • Maintaining accurate production records.
  • Handling materials as required.
  • Cross-training on additional equipment and batch making as necessary.
  • Upholding a clean and organized workspace.
  • Adhering strictly to safety protocols.
Candidate Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a stable work history, a collaborative mindset, a willingness to learn, and a proven ability to work safely while producing quality products. Candidates must successfully complete a post-offer drug screening and background check.

Essential Requirements:
To excel in this role, candidates should meet the following criteria:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial machine setup, operation, and troubleshooting is preferred, particularly with gravure coating or related processes.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and adapt to varying shifts as needed.
  • Physical capabilities include frequent walking, bending, lifting up to 35 lbs, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
  • Continuous visual inspection skills to identify product quality defects.
