We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager of Commercial Credit Operations to join our team at Truist Inc. This is a key leadership role that requires a strong background in commercial lending, business administration, and risk management.
Key Responsibilities- Provide strategic direction and leadership to the commercial credit operations team, with a focus on planning, development, and implementation of short-term and long-term strategies.
- Assess organizational objectives and develop achievable goals to improve departmental effectiveness.
- Direct and lead teammate development and engagement, making recommendations for employment, career development, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement standards, processes, and procedures consistent with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Work with business units and functional groups to drive cohesion and connectivity across large-scale working efforts.
- College degree in business or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
- 5-7 years of experience in commercial lending, business administration, banking operations, and management, strategic planning, or risk.
- Strong lending knowledge, including consulting, commercial/retail products, specialty lending, appraisals, regulatory and compliance, servicing, due diligence, documentation, funding, and reconciliations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with executive leadership.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and planning skills, with the ability to work proactively and operate accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
As a regular teammate working 20 hours or more per week, you will be eligible for benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, accidental death and dismemberment, tax-preferred savings accounts, and a 401k plan. You will also receive no less than 10 days of vacation and 10 sick days during your first year of employment, along with paid holidays.
