Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Life Safety Extinguisher/Pre-Engineered Field Service Technician to join our team at Summit Companies. As a key member of our fire protection team, you will be responsible for performing inspections and service on a variety of fire protection equipment, including portable fire extinguishers, kitchen fire suppression systems, and emergency lighting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections and maintenance on fire protection equipment to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Perform repairs and replacements of fire protection equipment as needed.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to identify and pursue additional sales and service opportunities.
  • Work efficiently and effectively with minimal supervision to meet customer needs and expectations.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in fire protection equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.
  • Valid driver's license and good driving record required.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds or more and work at heights.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
