Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate education programs to ensure they meet the needs of our healthcare providers
  • Collaborate with the Director of Professional Development to identify education needs and develop programs to address them
  • Develop and maintain relationships with healthcare providers to ensure education programs meet their needs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in education and professional development
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current Registered Nurse License in Connecticut
  • BSN Required, MSN preferred
  • 3-5 years recent clinical experience in an acute care setting
  • Formal teaching or comparable experience required
  • Maintains appropriate job-related membership in professional organization
  • Manages time effectively by meeting deadlines for completion of work projects
Preferred Qualifications
  • National certification in appropriate related specialty
  • AHA Instructor status in one discipline - ACLS, BLS or PALS
