The Outpatient Clinical Dietitian will function as a member of the professional healthcare team, providing clinical nutrition care in the Tully outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nutrition and dietetics, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide nutrition education to patients, families, and caregivers, using evidence-based nutrition standards of practice.
  • Formulate individualized nutrition care plans based on patient needs, using the Nutrition Care Process.
  • Document patient nutrition assessment, education, and progress notes in the patient's medical record.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for nutrition consult referral requests from the healthcare team.
  • Participate in research studies, performance improvement projects, and special projects as needed.
  • Stay current on the latest evidence-based nutrition care through ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
  • Master's Degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or completion of clinical requirements.
  • RD certification and eligibility for CD-N certification.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical nutrition setting.
