Role Summary:
As the digital landscape evolves, particularly in social media, we are seeking a dedicated Media Supervisor specializing in Paid Social. This role is pivotal in navigating the dynamic social media environment, where new features and advertising avenues emerge daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of strategic paid social media programs and analyses for clients, ensuring alignment with other Media practices, Account, Creative, Social Strategy, and Measurement teams.
- Manage and nurture relationships between teams and clients to consistently deliver exceptional, impactful work while driving business growth.
- Collaborate with Media Planning, Social Strategy, and Strategy & Analytics teams to integrate paid social within broader media campaigns and organic social strategies.
- Oversee the execution of paid media in API partner platforms and directly within social platforms, ensuring quality assurance in campaign setup and trafficking.
- Stay informed on new advertising products and technological advancements, translating these into actionable strategies that meet business objectives.
- Exhibit a thorough understanding of API partner capabilities, applying insights to client and campaign goals while fostering strong partnerships to influence product development.
- Work closely with the Strategy & Analytics team to leverage real-time data, testing, and insights for effective campaign optimization and management.
- Utilize planning and forecasting tools to inform budget allocations, bidding strategies, and audience targeting.
- Adapt to the fast-paced nature of social media by maintaining flexible working hours and being available for urgent tasks outside of standard business hours.
- Contribute to the training and development of junior team members as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Exceptional collaboration and teamwork skills, with experience in cross-functional team environments.
- Strong project management abilities, adept at re-prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced setting while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to think critically, present effectively to clients, and articulate the significance of social media.
- Solid understanding of essential media metrics and calculations (CTR, CPC, CPM, CPA).
- Positive demeanor with the capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 5-7+ years of experience in media planning/buying or ad operations preferred.
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in self-service capacities within social platforms, ideally with experience in both API partner UIs and major social media platforms.
- 1+ years of experience in team management.
