As an insurance sales representative, you will be responsible for servicing existing customers and generating new business by contacting potential customers. You will have the opportunity to service and sell insurance plans to hundreds of current automotive customers, building strong positive relationships and ensuring growth attainment and increase our reputation.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with current automotive customers to acquire new insurance contracts or suggest additions/changes to existing ones
  • Develop productive relationships to create a pool of prospective clients from various sources by networking, cold calling, and using referrals
  • Evaluate business or individual customers' needs and financial status and propose protection plans that meet their criteria
  • Work with clients to deliver risk management strategies that fit their risk profiles
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly objectives
  • Maintain accurate bookkeeping systems, database, and records
  • Monitor insurance claims to ensure mutual satisfaction
  • Stay up-to-date with new products and services and continuously update job knowledge
  • Fulfill all policy requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience as an insurance agent or relevant employment
  • A valid Texas P&C License (preferred but not necessary, as we can facilitate the opportunity to license candidates)
  • Familiarity with all types of insurance plans (automobile, fire, life, property, medical, etc.)
  • Basic computer knowledge and statistical analysis
  • Proven ability to work with goals
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, influence, and sell effectively
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions and creating long-lasting relationships
  • High school degree
