Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
  • Manage month-end closing processes and perform reconciliations
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial data
  • Oversee collections and maintain aging receivables reports
  • Process journal entries and invoices accurately
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and accrual accounting principles
  • Support audit preparations and vendor management
  • Utilize advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookup

Essential Skills
  • Proficient in journal entries and financial reporting
  • Experience with budgeting and invoice processing
  • Strong understanding of aging receivables and accruals
  • Knowledge of GAAP standards
  • Ability to conduct month-end close activities
  • Familiarity with academic accounting practices
  • Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience required
