About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant to join our client's growing team in Addison, IL. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a critical role in assisting with the month-end close processes and have full ownership of the inventory process, fixed assets capitalization, and more.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Performs month-end closing procedures and reporting, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is provided to key stakeholders.
  • Financial Analysis: Effectively communicates and coordinates the exchange of financial information to key stakeholders, providing insights and recommendations to drive business decisions.
  • Accounts Payable: Processes Accounts Payable invoices and maintains supplier contact, ensuring timely payments and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Accounts Receivable: Reports monthly Accounts Receivable aging reports and maintains aged balances within targets, ensuring efficient cash flow management.
  • Cash Management: Manages cash application, processing customer invoices and credit memos, and maintaining customer contact to collect outstanding payments.
  • Tax Compliance: Manages and reports sales and use tax and tax audit requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Experience: 3+ years of accounting experience, with a strong background in manufacturing.
  • Skills: Strong verbal and written communication, understanding and application of accounting principles/practices, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
