Your day-to-day responsibilities may include administering medications, assisting with daily living activities, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure the well-being of our residents.

We're committed to providing excellent care to our seniors, and we're looking for a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform patient assessments and document findings accurately.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Explain procedures and treatments to residents and families to gain cooperation, understanding, and to allay apprehension.
  • Observe residents and record significant conditions or changes then relay information to Director of Nursing or physician of resident's condition, reaction to drugs, treatments, or any other significant changes.
  • Supervise caregivers, including training, rewards, and discipline.
  • Perform direct nursing care and other duties when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Valid LPN license in the state of Kentucky.
  • Strong patient assessment skills.
  • Experience working with seniors is preferred.
  • Ability to handle medical emergencies and provide immediate care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong ability to problem solve and work as a team player.
  • Strong Customer service skills.
  • Attention to detail.
