Ticket Office Operations Manager

The Ticket Office Lead will assist the Ticket Office Supervisor in all phases of ticket office operations, overseeing and providing instruction to ticket office staff, and completing high-level tasks such as subscription renewal and processing tele-sales orders.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee pooled ticket office staff in day-to-day operations, including scheduling and clocking in/out.
- Lead select CSUN performances on the night of show.
- Process tele-sales orders, often in collaboration with external vendors.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Equivalent to three years of full-time, general office clerical work, providing knowledge and abilities listed.
- Equivalent to full-time college or university education/vocational school training in business or job-related field may be substituted for up to two years of required experience.
- Experience in administrative work providing audience or patron services, performing arts support functions, or in a theatre-related setting preferred.
- Ticket Office experience and current Red Cross certification in CPR and First Aid are preferred.
- Knowledge of theatre etiquette, standards, and protocol, performing arts center and university facilities and/or policies a plus.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Word and Excel).
- Thorough knowledge of correct English grammar, spelling, and punctuation; office methods, procedures, and practices; and university infrastructure, policies, and procedures.
- Ability to demonstrate excellent customer service and public relations skills, be outgoing and enjoy working with people, and exhibit exceptional dependability, flexibility, and patience in interactions with others.
- Ability to work under pressure and adhere to deadlines, show a willingness and ability to handle emergency situations, and establish and maintain effective working relationships with guest artists, vendors, students, faculty, staff, clients, patrons, guests, peers, and upper management.
- Ability to coordinate many different administrative duties, interpret and apply a variety of complex policies and procedures, set deadlines, and priorities, and complete projects accordingly.
- Classification: Administrative Support Assistant / 1032 / 2.
- The anticipated hiring rate is $21.23 per hour, with a salary range of $21.23 - $31.25 per hour.
- This is a temporary position with an end date to be determined.
- The individual hired for this role will physically work on-campus in Northridge.
