We are seeking a highly skilled Telecommunications Superintendent to join our team at Ledcor Technical Services. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of day-to-day field operations, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement project plans and schedules, ensuring safety and quality control
  • Delegate work to field staff, contractors, and tradespeople, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Manage project budgets, costs, and resources, identifying and mitigating potential risks
  • Oversee project safety meetings, promoting a culture of health, safety, and environmental protection
  • Coordinate change order management, ensuring timely and accurate processing
  • Prepare for project close-out, collecting warranties, O&M manuals, and occupancy documents

Requirements

  • 1-3 years of construction experience as a Telecommunications Superintendent or in a similar direct supervisory role
  • Solid understanding of current construction practices, construction documents, costs, and budgets
  • Ability to plan and manage project schedules, identifying constructability issues and supporting development of solutions
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to interpret stakeholder needs and manage diverse teams
  • Proficiency in P6, ShareFile, QuickBase, and MS Office
