Position Overview

As the Sales Leadership Manager, you will play a vital role within the Store Management team by implementing strategic initiatives to drive a profitable operation. Your success will stem from pioneering innovative selling techniques and achieving daily and weekly business targets by effectively assigning and overseeing tasks, objectives, and priorities for the sales associate team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Store Management in evaluating business trends and executing operational initiatives for your store.
  • Communicate sales and profitability performance metrics and resources to the store team.
  • Deliver a consistent customer experience that aligns with Ralph Lauren brand standards by addressing customer complaints and resolving service issues.
  • Contribute to the store's client development strategy through community engagement in your market.
  • Participate in the recruitment and interviewing process as necessary, aiding Store Management in building a customer-centric team that embodies the store's vision.
  • Engage in talent development discussions by providing constructive feedback and coaching to the store team.
  • Support team training initiatives to enhance skills and performance.
  • Provide ongoing insights to Store Management regarding team achievements and areas for improvement, as well as product category needs.
  • Maintain high productivity standards by adhering to processes and operational management, including inventory control.
  • Advocate for the adoption of new technologies that support innovative selling methods and enhance shopping experiences to achieve business results.
  • Uphold all company policies and procedures diligently.
  • Ensure that the sales floor and all store standards consistently exceed expectations.
  • Foster an inclusive environment that reflects core Ralph Lauren Company values and Cultural Focus Areas.

Qualifications and Skills

  • A college degree or equivalent experience is advantageous.
  • Experience in Retail Management or a similar sector within a complex, high-volume, or prestigious specialty environment is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills with customers and store personnel.
  • Ability to navigate the sales floor, stock areas, dressing rooms, cash wrap, and office; capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. and climbing as needed.
  • Proficient in operating the register and capable of standing, moving, and walking for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work a schedule that meets business needs, including days, evenings, weekends, and potentially overnight shifts and travel.
  • Demonstrated success in building and maintaining positive relationships with customers, management, and colleagues.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Excellent planning, prioritization, and time management skills.
