Events and Property Management Specialist

Job Overview:
As an integral member of our team, you will ensure seamless execution of events on property while providing essential administrative support to the General Managers.
Your role will involve acting as the primary liaison for guests coordinating and attending meetings and events, ensuring their experience is smooth and enjoyable.
Collaboration with fellow team members is key to guaranteeing proper coverage and delivering prompt service to our guests (e.g., Front Desk, Restaurant).
You will also assist in property billing processes related to both event and non-event activities, which includes monitoring Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable (APAR) and managing direct bill applications.
Additionally, you will gather, create, and submit content for updating property websites. Administrative tasks, as delegated by the General Managers, may include maintaining databases related to finance, accounting, labor scheduling, sales, and general operations, as well as liaising with the Regional Sales Office (RSO).
In cases where a property lacks support from a Regional Sales Office, you may be responsible for all aspects of event planning and detailing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring a clean and professional appearance.
- Maintain confidentiality of proprietary information and protect company assets.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipating and addressing their service needs.
- Assist individuals with disabilities and express genuine appreciation to guests.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with others, preparing and reviewing written documents accurately, and answering phones with appropriate etiquette.
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues, supporting the team to achieve common goals, and responding appropriately to guest concerns.
- Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and handle objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
- Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience:
Minimum of 2 years in a related field.
Supervisory Experience:
None required.
License or Certification:
None required.
