Job Description

Exela Technologies is a global leader in Business Process Automation, serving over 4,000 customers across 50 countries. We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Management Professional to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contact consumers with delinquent accounts through phone calls, emails, and other communication channels.
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and settlements to satisfy valid debts while adhering to state and federal collection laws.
  • Consistently achieve monthly revenue goals by effectively managing collections activities and following established procedures.
  • Handle disputed delinquent and bankrupt account balances according to client-specific practices and guidelines.
  • Document collections activities accurately and efficiently, ensuring all relevant information is recorded in the system.
  • Maintain organization and neatness of work area, including the security of debtor and client files.

Qualifications:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One to three years of experience in credit and collections is preferred.
  • Possess a working knowledge of state and federal collection laws, including the FDCPA, FCRA, and HIPAA.
  • Previous experience in a Call Center environment is favorable.
  • Must be physically capable and able to multitask efficiently to complete job duties.
  • Basic proficiency with computers, including data entry and navigation of software applications, is required.

The estimated salary for this position is $16.00/hr, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Bonus opportunities may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
