Job Overview

Classic Toyota of Hampton is seeking an Automotive Parts Specialist to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in helping us meet the growing demand for vehicle parts and accessories.

Salary Range

The estimated annual salary for this position is $52,500 - $67,000, based on experience and performance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate pricing and availability information to technicians, service advisors, and customers as needed.
  • Order and track vehicle parts with precision.
  • Assist customers over the phone by providing quotes and answering questions.
  • Process orders for delivery or pickup while maintaining accurate inventory levels.
  • Manage cash, credit, charge, and tax-exempt sales transactions efficiently.
  • Receive and ship vehicle parts according to company policies.
  • Restock inventory daily to ensure optimal stock levels.
  • Conduct daily perpetual inventory audits to maintain accuracy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities

Support departmental goals by:

  • Maintaining up-to-date product knowledge to improve sales of associated vehicle components.
  • Establishing and maintaining positive relationships with internal and external customers.
  • Increasing sales of vehicle parts and accessories.
  • Utilizing available manufacturer training to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Ability to effectively manage customer frustration and redirect it positively.
  • Trainable and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
  • Outgoing and friendly personality with excellent customer handling skills.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • CDK experience is a plus, but not required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Manufacturer training certifications are a plus, but not required.
