Our client, Addison Group, is in search of a skilled Business Systems Analyst to facilitate the connection between project stakeholders and the IT department. This role is pivotal in leading the collection of requirements, analysis, functional design, and quality assurance testing for system enhancements. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, configuring, developing, testing, implementing, and maintaining approved business applications. Effective communication and coordination are essential, as this individual will serve as the liaison between business users and IT stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

· Engage in the planning and execution of IT initiatives, including system upgrades, deployments, and migrations.

· Evaluate technical systems, interfaces, and processes to enhance solution design.

· Create, develop, and sustain business intelligence dashboards and visualizations aimed at monitoring project progress, financial and operational performance, and key metrics.

· Collaborate with essential business partners to formulate and develop metrics that drive success and transformation within their departments.

  • Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and IT; facilitate cross-functional design and requirements processes.
  • Develop training materials and communications to support initiative rollout and strategic alignment.
  • Document requirements and functional specifications comprehensively.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. BA Certifications and/or PMP are advantageous (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst or in a related field.

Essential Skills:

  • Outstanding analytical and conceptual thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in preparing high-level requirements, use cases, business requirement documents, functional specifications, and traceability matrices.
  • Demonstrated capability to map business processes and workflows, conduct gap analysis, and document requirements, ensuring they are developed and tested effectively.
  • Experience in creating detailed reports and delivering presentations to stakeholders.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook.
  • Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of basic to mid-level SQL and relational databases, with experience in building and/or managing dashboards and reports in BI applications.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a plus.
  • Willingness to adapt to change and a desire to learn and develop new skill sets as necessary.
