About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Payroll and Benefits Administrator to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our HR department, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the entire payroll process, ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer the company's benefits programs, including health, life, disability, and retirement plans.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to payroll and benefits.
  • Utilize UKG and ADP WFN payroll systems to process payroll and maintain employee records.
  • Resolve any payroll or benefits discrepancies in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports detailing payroll, deductions, leave, disability, nontaxable wages, etc.
  • Coordinate with the HR team to ensure accurate and timely processing of new hires, temporary workers, transfers, promotions, and terminations.
  • Stay current with changes in payroll and benefits regulations and laws.
  • Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs, and recommend corrective action.
  • Provide excellent customer service by answering employee requests and questions about payroll and benefits.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, HR, or related field, highly preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits administration, preferably in the Engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in UKG and ADP WFN payroll systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll functions including preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.
  • Strong knowledge of benefits structures and experience administering employee benefits.
  • Excellent understanding of multi-location payroll and taxes.
  • Knowledge of payroll compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize work.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
  • Professional certification like Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) will be a plus.
