Your Responsibilities:

As a Pest Control Technician, you will engage with various clients in the hospitality sector and other commercial enterprises. By delivering high-quality services and identifying effective pest management solutions, you will help safeguard their reputation and support their operational success.

  • Build strong working relationships with diverse clients and collaborate on best practices for pest management.
  • Stay informed about the company's product and service offerings, as well as industry trends, to enhance service delivery and sales of pest prevention solutions.
  • Utilize handheld computerized tools to manage service tasks and document pest-related issues.
  • This role is classified as requiring heavy physical work.

Position Overview:

  • Route territory includes various locations.
  • Work schedule: Days.
  • Compensation range: $46,000 - $56,000 per year.

As a leader in the industry, Ecolab provides a world-class training program designed to equip you with the tools and resources needed to excel. During the training, you will be required to travel for one week to the corporate headquarters for part of your training. Travel arrangements and related expenses will be covered by the company.

This position requires successful completion of the training program to maintain employment.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • At least two years of work or military experience.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record, capable of maintaining a company vehicle.
  • Ability to work overnight or graveyard shifts as needed.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Willingness to be on-call during off-hours and weekends when necessary.
  • Immigration sponsorship is not available for this position.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 50 pounds at chest height.
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including confined spaces and extreme temperatures.
  • Ability to perform essential physical tasks, including lifting, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
  • Must be capable of wearing a respirator.
  • Possess or be able to obtain necessary pest certification and/or licensing as required by local laws.
  • Must pass a drug screening.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service.
  • Ability to sell value-added services to existing clients.
  • Previous experience in pest control or route management is preferred.
