Job Overview

The Retail Lease Operations Coordinator is tasked with overseeing the management of all lease agreements and licenses pertaining to our retail locations. This position is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of the lease lifecycle in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Director, Legal team, landlords, and business partners to prepare and execute all necessary documentation for lease renewals, including the exercise of options on current leases.
  • Obtain required Certificates of Insurance (COIs) from all business partners related to colocations, subleases, and leases on company-owned properties.
  • Work with our insurance provider to ensure all lease-required certificates of insurance are delivered to landlords for our leased properties.
  • Organize, manage, and maintain both physical and electronic lease files, ensuring they are up-to-date.
  • Administer all lease and license agreements for leased properties, kiosks, colocations, and subleases to guarantee full compliance.
  • Coordinate with the Project Manager and Facilities Team to track and collect tenant allowance funds from landlords and ensure that all abated rents are received by the Treasury.
  • Engage with landlords and property managers regarding lease-related matters, including conflict resolution.
  • Interpret and enforce lease terms to ensure compliance, consulting with the Legal Department as necessary.
  • Review and analyze lease and license agreements to identify potential conflicts arising from non-compliance.

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED (Preferred)

Experience

  • 0-2 years of relevant experience (Preferred)
