About the Role

The Leasing & Marketing Coordinator provides critical support to our community's marketing, sales, and customer service efforts. This role is responsible for planning and executing a community marketing plan, as well as indirectly supervising team members involved in marketing and leasing.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides exceptional sales focus on each prospective and current customer, ensuring a seamless leasing experience.
  • Coordinates the entire leasing process, meeting and greeting customers with enthusiasm and efficiency.
  • Manages leads from our software platform, following up consistently with prospects and screening qualified applicants in accordance with company policies and regulations.
  • Compiles and organizes all paperwork, including entering applications into our property management system and preparing lease agreements.
  • Stays knowledgeable about our community's amenities and services, providing detailed descriptions to prospective customers.
  • Confidently presents our community as an attractive option for potential residents.
  • Ensures all models and show units are ready for viewing, conducting pre-showing inspections and performing necessary cleaning and maintenance.
  • Assists in creating a marketing plan and strategy for the assigned community, focusing on internal and external marketing efforts to maintain a minimum of 95% occupancy.
  • Develops and implements marketing materials, including content for social media and communication platforms.
  • Monitors and maintains a positive resident experience from initial contact through residency and move-out, tracking customer service scores.
  • Participates in LifeWorks events and provides new residents with a smooth transition to their new community.
  • Monitors unit availability and contacts residents when units become available, following company policies and procedures.
  • Provides exceptional customer service, answering phones promptly and assisting current residents with their needs.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in a business-related field or communications preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service atmosphere; preference given to candidates with experience in leasing roles at student housing or multi-family communities.
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office knowledge and social media experience.
  • Creativity, teamwork, solid communication, and good time management skills.
  • Active and valid driver's license required.
